M.U. Thailand 2024 is out of the Miss Universe family because she is the new Miss World Thailand 2024/5. Let us explain further. The Miss Universe Organization has dethroned Miss Universe Thailand, Suchata Chuangsri, because she has been appointed as Miss World Thailand 2024/5.

According to the MUO, M.U. Thailand 2024/5 is out for one simple reason. That she, Opal did not complete her reign of a year as Miss Universe Top 5 before becoming MW. Thus breaching the contract of the pageant which states that a reigning queen must complete her year as queen before partaking in any other pageants.

Grievances:-

Meanwhile, the organization that produced Suchata Chuangsri, TPN was removed by the MUO just after the pageant. To worsen matters as far as TPN is concerned, Ms. Chuangsri popularly known as Opal has no pageant duties. Instead, other queens who did not make Top 5 were chosen as continent queens. And were given international prominence. Rendering Opal redundant. Besides, they reasoned that other runners-up of M.U. took part in other international pageants and won. Neither were they dethroned. So why could they not do same?

The Major Difference:-

Finally, for those saying Opal is not the first queen to take part in another pageant, there is one huge difference. Miss Universe Thailand 2024/5 is out because management has changed hands. MGM owned Miss Universe organization when the different queens competed in other pageants. But now JKN owns the franchise. They have been owners since they bought it 2022.

And JKN takes no prisoners. These owners are jealously guarding their investments, the Top 5 winners.

Also, their reasoning to make Miss Continent choices out of none Top 5 winners is their discretion. We are unable to connect the dots but we believe they know what they are doing. Hopefully, the now redundant queens would be assigned their preordained responsibilities in due course.
