Miss Toluhi Anuoluwapo Oluwakorede of the University of Lagos is World Miss University Nigeria. She is a student of Business Administration at the University of Lagos Nigeria. She will be representing Nigeria at the World Miss University finale in Seoul, Korea.

World Miss University contest was introduced to Nigeria in 2005. And she produced the first queen in 2007. Since then, several brilliant ladies have won the crown. The pageant is a non-bikini pageant. Contestants are expected to appear in cultural costumes and evening gowns.

The World Miss University Beauty Contest is held in Seoul Korea, every year. It’s premier edition was in 1986. This year 2022 however, over 90 contestants are expected. It was created by the International Association of University Presidents to celebrate and promote United Nations and in remembrance of the International Year of Peace 1986. Nowadays, it is organised by the World University Organizing Committee whose heads is in New York of the United States of America. The event welcomes up to 70 contestants from different parts of the world, every year. The World University Peace Corp representatives are selected to promote UN affiliated events and volunteer for Peace services.

The contest like all others, encourages determination and hardwork.
