After all The Philippines has won the Miss World contest a whopping fifteen times! The only other country in that category is the United States of America.

So why not? Why not just continue from where Obenita stopped? Great expectations for greater success.

Gabrielle Basiano made the top twenty at the 2022/23 international competition.

But she did not make it to the top six finalists in Egypt two nights ago. It’s all good. Like the outgoing queen Cinderella Obenita said and I quote, ” the real essence in winning is the courage in joining the race.”

She could not have put it better. All the contestants are winners. It takes courage to step out. It takes courage to join the race. It takes courage to complete it.
